Practitioner Mid P725408 Black Mens Boots

Black cat practitioner boots. Bought brand new. I wear them daily 5 days a week for 10-12hrs.

First impressions were not as good as my previous cat boots. The soles on these are fake stitched. Although that being said, the soles have not detached. It just looks a bit naff. After 2.5 yrs the leather on one of them split. I look after my boots and nourish/polish them regularly so this is a let down. I'm a GP paramedic so the worst they see is some rain.

I find them very comfortable but did take a few weeks to ease up at the start, typical for most boots. There's still life left in them but the split is getting worse so will need to renew soon.

Due to the fake stitching and poor leather would likely not buy another pair of practitioners, which is unfortunate as i quite like the looks of the other tan colours available.

They've done me well for 3 years though to be fair. Just knocking a star off each for the fake stitching on the sole and poor quality leather that was used. Maybe the other colours are better?

I have a pair of caterpillar "stickshift" boots in classic honey, over a decade old now and covered A LOT of miles! They have great patina and are only just now starting to let go. I guess these were the last of the best cat boots. They seem to be made to a lower budget these days. Shame, cat boots used to be synonymous.

Most Cat boots are perfect for my feet these most certainly are not. Tested buying them.
